The Idaho Transportation Department is replacing the Broadway Bridge and the Boise City Department of Arts and History is producing historic content and interpretive signs for the former bridge, which was listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Join us for a presentation on the history of the Broadway Bridge with historian Barbara Perry Bauer. You will learn about the city’s river crossings and how the former Broadway Bridge was constructed, as well as Broadway Avenue as a transportation corridor in the city of Boise and its vital role linking South Boise with downtown.

Office hours for programmers – all skill levels; from beginner to professional, any language. The format is super simple: you come with your laptop (or check one out from the library), a goal, sit, hang out and code. Feel free to flag down one of the organizers if you have a question. That’s it! If we can’t answer your question, we’ll find you someone who can, or at least point you in the right direction. Note that this is a meetup for people learning to code. Experienced developers are needed too, – we appreciate the help!
