The Idaho Transportation Department is replacing the Broadway Bridge and the Boise City Department of Arts and History is producing historic content and interpretive signs for the former bridge, which was listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Join us for a presentation on the history of the Broadway Bridge with historian Barbara Perry Bauer. You will learn about the city’s river crossings and how the former Broadway Bridge was constructed, as well as Broadway Avenue as a transportation corridor in the city of Boise and its vital role linking South Boise with downtown.
